"The Cell"
Preformens and installation
Thesis exhibition-MFA at Bezalel, 2021

Two boys are training in Krav Maga, a reality-based Israeli method of fighting ("street fighting") used by the security forces. They are in a closed room for 20 minutes - the viewer can hear them and their activity beyond the wall. A thermal camera records them while they are training at allotted intervals - two white spots indicate the body temperature of the trainees moving according to the division of attack and attack. Between workouts they move to a resting room for 20 minutes, with two chairs, a refrigerator and a small window. There you can watch their resting action before they go back inside for the next workout. A document of activity in the room is broadcast on a screen. The battle, and also the space temperature while empty, awaits the next battle.
