The power mechanisms are activated from a space that simulates a control room. It contains a silver container, an ice cube and a pump that passes water along a pipe. The ice cube melted slowly. An elongated window provides a monitoring position for the violent event that takes place in the second room. The screening system operates a system that transfers and filters cold water through plastic containers, including coal.

 

The video installation describes a group of men who take the law into their own hands. In a violent and aggressive process they fascinate the person who deviates from the social dictate. This initiation ceremony of masculinity is covered in several cameras. Police bodies, in cooperation with the public, inform the citizen and supervise him from a number of different angles. In their hands, the authority is responsible for exercising violence against the person who does not act as a law and threatens the existing order.

Man has social forces, one local force. Every operator of violence is fed by the desire of the person next to him to solve the exceptional situation. The eagerness to restore order and gain control leads to an increase in violent action. The second force is a social convention that is also reflected in the various photographic modes and the lack of intervention of those around the event.

 

As in my previous work, this work describes a realistic host situation, like a parasite in a living body, as a bibliographical reminder. The staged scene depicts the artist who is exceptional in his sexuality and is caught and held by a group of men in various paternity situations. They condemn and exclude the exception from their children and families. The staged scene presents various types of documentation in which the artist is caught and confined to the floor with a bright blue sack on his head. The blue sack mentions the Blue Screen, a cinematic technique used to create the illusion that things taken in a particular place actually take place elsewhere.
